The author of "You Can Do This" wanted this book to bridge the gap between a fully-illustrated children's book and a standard text-only publication. Using vivid illustrations, bold colors, and distinct typography, we were able to create a design that appeals to people of all ages.
The design for the book required a high level of versatility so that it could conform to many different page layouts, while still performing as a cohesive publication. I accomplished this by using a visually distinct style of illustration that was highly scaleable.
