"God Helps Me: Forgive & Apologize" is the first in a series of branded "2-in-1 Flip-it" books. Creating this first book in the series was challenging because the client wanted to create a style and format which would be consistently repeated in future books, but could develop and grow over time.
The childlike, racially diverse finger-puppet style characters were developed to appeal to children. The characters' simplicity engages children's attention while allowing them to focus on the messages being taught.
The book is actually composed of two books and has "front covers" on both the front and the back sides. The two books colorfully collide in the center page layout. This center layout is filled with finger puppets for children to cut out and use to play-act the books' content.
